Noir Box winners

So because I like procrastinating *heehee*, let me tell you about my twist-out regime these days. I am really loving the dry hair twist-out these days. Here's how I do it:

I washed my ‪hair with Aunt Jackie's‬ kids shampoo (because I ran out of big people shampoo. It's so awesome, I plan on making a part of my list) then deep-conditioned with ORS replenishing conditioner. * side note: Did you know ORS launched a new range of Argan Oil products in South Africa. We are the first country it was launched in. Yay, SA!!)*
Back to the twist-out - After a few hours I rinsed and finger detangled, sectioned my hair in 6 parts, added Wema's tea tree hair butter to each section and then blew it out on medium heat until I looked like a Bones Thugs and Harmony rapper (totally swiped this description from HalfieTruths)... and then did the mandatory selfie photoshoot (Please excuse the quality of my pics. "Dear Father Christmas, I need a new camera or iPhone...)

and then I twisted it using some coconut oil and took more pics...

I kept this style in for the week. Bobby pins came in handy when it came to styling my hair.

But enough about me. Thanks so all those who entered the Noir Box competition. Once again, choosing a winner was horrible. I would really give you all something if I could. In saying that, I would like to extend a hearty congratulations to Lyndall Radcliffe Moses and Khanya Mdletye! Thanks so much for commenting, joining, sharing and tagging. Please send your details to MzansiFro at
Here's another look at what Lyndall and Khanya have won:
